Wellington Road Air Quality

Key Findings

This road receives a lot of traffic as it is one of the main routes in and out of the city from the South. In 2008, NO2 concentrations (Fig. 12) were at the recommended limit, after which the mean increased to a  peaked in 2012, before falling to a safe level in 2019. The other pollutants follow more simple patterns, with PM10 (Fig. 13) reaching safe concentrations in 2016, while PM2.5 (Fig. 14) has remained at a consistently safe level since records began in 2016.
