State of the Coast Workshop

The first presentation was given by Ian Hay and covered the history of the project, the main improvements delivered as a result of the previous workshop, and future options. This talk can be found here.

 

Next, Project Intern, Cathryn Lovie gave a presentation focusing of different use cases for the State of the Coast Website focusing on benefits for school teachers, councillors and a community groups looking to deliver projects. This can be found here.

 

Shaleen Sharma, Project Intern then presented on the work that he has been delivering to include a legal and policy section on the website. His talk can be found here.

 

Finally, Dr Lauren Smith gave a presentation on here work on tackling coastal litter, the links to the critically endangered Flapper Skate. Her talk can be found here

 

We also shared a new film highlighting our litter and education work. Found here

 

After lunch we heard a presentation from the Marine Directorate looking at the delivery of NMP2 followed by use playing the marine planning game.
