Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group (AREG) is a dedicated non-profit industry organisation focused on accelerating renewable energy development and supporting the energy transition in the North-East of Scotland. It was established in 2003 and now has 270+ member organisations, including developers, supply chain companies, policymakers and researchers. AREG plays a key role in accelerating the transition to renewable energy by enabling our network of members to access opportunities in the UK and overseas. it helped by connecting the supply chain with developers and project owners, sharing market insights on new developments, policies, and funding opportunities with our membership, championing our members and the renewable energy sector, and promoting collaboration.
