Key Findings

Role:

OEUK (formerly know as Oil and Gas UK) is the leading trade association for the UK's offshore energy industry, giving a voice to over 400 organisations and businesses throughout the country. it is a not-for-profit organisation, established in April 2007 on the foundations of the UK Offshore Operators Association (UKOOA). The membership is open to all companies from the largest producers and developers, to contractors, consultancies and the smallest start-ups. The organisation renamed itself in 2022 to better reflect its shift towards a low-carbon, integrated energy future to embrace UK's net zero commitment by 2050 under Climate Change act, 2008. It provides industry research, policy recommendations, safety standards, and engagement platforms that shape decision-making in the offshore energy sector.

OEUK's headquartered in London with another office in Aberdeen.
